Margaret’s film

Margaret Schofield has been involved in music and theatre performances in and around Heywood for over 50 years. She originally got involved to find friendship but soon discovered a creative community where she’s found fun, friendship, love, and family.

She describes the magic and buzz of performance for both those on and off stage. “I’m happy when I see other people enjoying themselves” she says.

She currently helps organise VOICE (a community choir in Heywood) and was previously a member of Heywood Operatic and Dramatic Society for nearly 40 years.
