David’s film

After suffering several heart attacks, David Street wasn’t allowed to return to a job he loved for health and safety reasons.  After 40 years working in the same factory, he says “I lost my confidence” as he had to re-adjust to a new way of life.

After getting out for walks around Heywood more often to benefit his health and being introduced to a community art group he has since re-kindled his love of nature, sketching and painting from his youth

He’s found a peace in the midst of life’s stresses “I feel at ease in nature and when I sketch, I’m not stressed out when I do that” he says.
