Ben’s film

Ben is a songwriter and music teacher from Back O’th Moss. Since falling in love with music as a young teenager he’s been on a journey to discover his true voice and is now passionate about helping others find what’s at the core of their inner being through unvetted musical expression.

Ben played his first musical note on his Grans’ piano and instantly fell in love, he then describes learning music as an “insatiable search” and “a doorway to my own personality” and a tool for expressing himself, which has then carried him through the highs and lows of life.

In awe of the beauty of our universe, Ben feels like everything is connected. He describes music as “a greater language than any other language” and advocates for people to express themselves through it.

“What we are as humans, as expression, that’s what makes you an individual. It’s what you offer to the world another colour, another texture, another thought, another feeling, another perspective.”
